本文是探讨隐喻及意象图式与音乐认知之间关系的实证研究。受试者为69名北京航空航天大学英语专业硕士研究生。试验材料为肖邦的升C小调第20号小夜曲。试验结论:隐喻在音乐理解和认知中起作用;体验性是音乐认知、音乐欣赏和音乐想象的基础;意象图式在音乐理解和认知中起作用;不同的乐曲在听者头脑中产生不同的隐喻和意象图式组合。结论支持认知语言学的假设:语言不是人类大脑中独立的认知机制。
Abstract:the cognitive effect and function of metaphors and image schemas on music cognition. The subjects were 69 postgraduate students from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The sample music used was Chopin's Nocturne 20 in C. The findings support the following conclusions: metaphor plays a role in music understanding and cognition; bodily experiences provide the basis for music understanding and cognition; image schemas also play a role in music understanding and cognition; different music evokes different kinds of metaphors and image schemas combination in the subjects' mind. The conclusions support the hypothesis in Cognitive Linguistics that language is not an autonomous cognitive faculty.
