文章从活动系统分析视角出发,以北京市某双一流高校的“美术英语”课程为例,对该课程教学活动系统的有效运行进行了个案研究与综合分析。研究表明,与传统语言技能课程不同,该课程积极响应新文科背景下的人才培养需求,以教师个人对文化与艺术的探索与研究为基础,依托自主研发的“美术英语”教材和语言与内容“双聚焦”的教学模式,兼顾学科融合与价值实现,为专门用途英语相关领域的教学和研究提供了有益参考。
Abstract:Based on the activity system analysis theory,a case study was conducted on the effective teaching mode of English for specific purposes (ESP) teachers,taking the Art English course as an example.With the analysis of multiple data,it reveals that,in this activity system,the teacher and students are guided by the three-dimensional teaching concepts.With the construction of the teaching community inside and outside the classroom,the flexible use of teaching and learning tools,the effective establishment of curriculum rules and the reasonable division of labor,the interaction among all these elements contributes to the ultimate realization of object-oriented teaching and learning achievements,that is,shaping values,cultivating skills,and imparting knowledge,which has a multi-dimensional positive impact on both teachers and students.Different from the traditional college English courses focusing on language skills,this course responds positively to the demand for talent cultivation under the background of New Liberal Arts.With self-developed teaching materials,especially the textbook,and the teaching mode of integrating the content and language,that is,language with arts,it takes both the integration of disciplines and the realization of value into consideration,providing a useful reference for ESP teaching and learning.
