本研究借助调查问卷和文化测试等研究方法,对随机抽取的国内高校英语专业3 891名学生的中国文化传承能力及其影响因素展开调查,并对学生中国文化学习意愿、课堂教学、作业测试、课程设置、中国文化英语表达能力等变量之间关系等进行了分析。结果显示,目前英语专业学生传承中国优秀文化的能力有待提高,学生对中国文化知识的掌握不够全面,学生的中国文化英语表达准确性不高。本研究就增强学生的中国文化传承能力提出了相关建议。

The paper investigated English majors’competence concerning the inheritance of Chinese culture among 3 891 university students in China.Moreover,the concerning investigation and correlation analysis are conducted to detect correlations among various factors such as students’attitudes,classroom instruction,homework assignments,tests design,etc.It is found that English majors’ competence concerning Chinese culture inheritance still needs improvements.Most students don’t have accurate and indepth understanding of Chinese culture and need to enhance their accuracy while introducing Chinese culture in English.Some suggestions are further offered according to the results of the correlation analysis.
